Natsue Way Recreation Area Project

At the May 9, 2017 Town Meeting, voters will be asked to fund the $3.6 million Natsue Way Recreation Area Project. The proposed project is the culmination of more than three years of planning by the Master Plan Committee.

To pass the debt exclusion needed to fund this project, residents will be asked to:
  • Vote to appropriate the funds at the Tuesday May 9 Town Meeting at the Howe Manning School
  • Vote at the Town Election on Monday, May 15 from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Fuller Meadow School
Note: Both votes must pass for this project to be funded.

The proposition 2.5 allows municipalities to raise tax revenue for a debt exclusion by a referendum vote. Exclusions require a two-thirds vote of the local appropriating authority at town meeting, and, to take effect, all must receive a majority of votes in a town election.
