Town Committees play an important role in the successful functioning and future of Middleton. You can actively participate in this valuable process by serving on one of these Committees.The following Committees are in need of volunteers:
Charter Review Committee - Seven citizen at large vacancies.At the June 2021 Annual Town Meeting, residents voted to establish a Charter Review Committee to be appointed by the Town Moderator. Article 24 (Amendment of Town Charter) was referred to this Committee for further study with the Committee’s recommendations to be presented at the next Special or Annual Town Meeting. Please consider volunteering for this new Committee and being involved in our next Charter review process from the beginning.
Master Plan Committee - Three citizen at large vacancies.The Master Plan Committee has a range of responsibilities that include studying the needs, possibilities, resources and goals of the Town regarding a Master Plan for future development and supervising the implementation of the Master Plan's final recommendations. Regular meetings will resume in the Fall.
