The Middleton Police and Recreation Commission are sponsoring the Officer Nowak Annual Fishing Derby on Sunday June 30. This children's event is from 8-11 a.m. at Creighton Pond A pancake breakfast will begin at 8:00 a.m. and run until 9:00 a.m. The fishing derby will take place from 9-10:30 a.m., with awards at 10:45 a.m T-shirts will be provided to youth participants. Prizes will be provided for biggest and smallest fish caught, as well as for the most fish caught. The cost is $5.00 per child.
