[ARCHIVED] ZBA to hold 40B Working Session on July 26th

somain elev (003)

The Zoning Board of Appeals invites you to a “work session” to be held on July 26, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. in the Cafetorium of the Fuller Meadow School to discuss the process for review of an expected Comprehensive Permit application that is now in the planning stages by Villebridge Development LLC for a mixed-use project with up to 200 residential units to be located at the corner of South Main Street and Boston Street.

At the Zoning Board of Appeal’s June 23 meeting, members unanimously voted to invite our Town Counsel, one representative each from every board, committee, and town department; as well as a Danvers Water & Sewer Commission representative, to openly discuss the planned project and the process for evaluating possible effects of such a development on the Town.

The public is invited to this meeting but will not be allowed to speak at this particular meeting so that representatives from each of the town committees, boards, and departments have ample time to discuss the project. However, the public is invited to send any questions or comments to Town Planner Katrina O’Leary at Katrina.oleary@middletonma.gov to be forwarded to the participants at the working session.

The purpose of the meeting is for Town boards, committees, and staff to talk about the Comprehensive Permit process and to share their concerns, ideas, and recommendations regarding the scope of this large project and it’s expected impact on the Town. Members of the Zoning Board of Appeals will not be deliberating on the merits of the project as such discussion will be reserved for a public hearing if an application is received.

All board and committee chairs will be receiving invitations to the work session via email so that each board/committee can determine who will be their designee.
