With catalytic converter thefts on the rise, the Middleton Police Department and the Essex County Sheriff’s Department (ECSD) have begun a program to etch the catalytic converters of Middleton residents' cars at no cost.
The event will be held Saturday, Feb. 25 from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. at ECSD Headquarters, 20 Manning Avenue, Middleton.
Please note:
* Sign-ups must be done in advance
* Only one car per household
* Proof of residency is required
* Late arrivals may not be etched
