Early Wednesday morning it was discovered that Town information technology systems were impacted by a cyber incident. This failed attempt at unauthorized activity was caught within an hour and our systems were taken offline out of an abundance of caution.
There was no loss of data and all sensitive information is secure. We are in the process of engaging an incident response team to begin the slow process of bringing our systems back online. Due to our current limited capabilities, Memorial Hall and 195 N. Main Street will be closed on Thursday, July 13, 2023. Police, Fire, DPW, Library, and Council on Aging will maintain their typical schedules.
Residents can still utilize online payment and permitting portals via the Town website.
