A fire was reported at the DPW Building late this morning, Wednesday, August 14th, 2024. The Middleton Fire Department quickly arrived at the scene and contained the fire.  The cause is still under investigation. All employees were able to safely evacuate the building, and there is no significant damage to the structure reported at this time. The Town of Middleton would like to thank the North Reading and North Andover Fire Departments for responding to the call. Also, thank you to the Middleton Police Department and MELD for their assistance. 195 N. Main Street is closed for the day. A future timeline will be communicated once available.
