Middleton's application process

If you are a resident of Middleton and would like to apply for a firearms license, or renew your license, please submit your application (https://www.mass.gov/doc/resident-firearms-license-application-0/download) to us (you can drop it off or mail it to us) at the Middleton Police Station at 65 N. Main St, Middleton, MA 01949. (You can also complete the application online at: https://mircsportal.chs.state.ma.us/mircs-portal/login.xhtml.)

For new licenses, you need to complete a Massachusetts Basic Firearms Safety Course (https://www.mass.gov/doc/approved-basic-firearms-safety-course-list-0/download), and submit to us a copy of the class completion certificate.

For renewals, please be sure to submit a signed Affidavit (part of the downloadable application packet).

Lastly, for both new and renewal applications, you must submit to us the appropriate application fee (https://www.mass.gov/how-to/apply-for-or-renew-a-firearms-license#fees) on a check made out to the “Town of Middleton”.
