| 2023 Fall | Town receives notice that they have been selected to advance to the next step of the selection process and be visited by a MassDOT design consultant to verify the scope of the project.

| 2023 Fall | Nitsch Engineering submits a draft scope of services to MassDOT for approval |
| 2024 Spring | The Town receives word via Nitsch Engineering that MassDOT has approved the draft scope of work and Nitsch Engineering is free to begin design according to the approved scope. Design recommendations included traffic calming measures, improved signage, and safer crossings. |
| 2024 Summer | Construction and implementation of safety and traffic calming improvements begins. |
